Hi, I’m Marcel

 

I'm a fully qualified and experienced UK-trained Psychotherapist. I work with clients from around the world, online and face to face.

I’m also a trained counselling supervisor, having received comprehensive training from the senior BACP-accredited faculty at the University of Nottingham. I hold a Master of Arts in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice, and a Bachelor of Arts in Western Philosophy and English Literature. My academic and professional background enables me to offer thoughtful, empathic support that is tailored to your individual needs and experiences.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, facing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and the upheavals of life transitions. I aim to provide a space of genuine connection and understanding, where you can begin to feel grounded again. Whether you're struggling with something specific, feeling isolated, or simply looking for a place to explore your inner world, I’m here to walk alongside you.

As a Person-Centred therapist, I work from the understanding that people have an inherent capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. At times, that movement can become constrained by early experiences or difficult life circumstances, often leading to self-doubt or disconnection from one’s own sense of direction. My role is not to diagnose or direct, but to offer a safe, supportive therapeutic space in which you can reconnect with your own strengths, values, and way forward.

The therapy I offer is non-directive, non-diagnostic, and open to everyone. You bring whatever you need to bring, and we work at your pace. This Person-Centred Experiential approach is widely regarded as the most effective form of talking therapy, particularly for those wanting to go beyond symptom relief, toward deeper personal growth.
